Julian Scriabin

Julian Scriabin (Russian: Юлиан Александрович Скрябин, 12 February 1908 – 22 June 1919) was the son of Russian composer Alexander Scriabin and Tatiana de Schloezer. He was himself a composer and pianist. Considered a prodigy, as a composer Julian wrote a few preludes—two of which were published in Сборник (Sbornik)—and showed great promise. His few works are reminiscent of his father's late style, to which he was exposed while growing up.

Julian drowned in the Dnieper River at Kiev at the age of eleven in a boating accident.
